Argentina

Day 505~533: Monday, February 1 ~ Monday, February 29, 2016

I spent the entire month of February in Buenos Aires. At the beginning of the month I met again with my doctor and we decided the best course of action was to do surgery and remove the screws from my leg. I continued the rehab on my left leg by going to the gym every day until February 18. On the 18th I had minor surgery.

The doctor assured me that the surgery went well and I could feel the difference just walking from the hospital room to the taxi.   Other than the slight pain where the incision was made I did not feel the pain that I was so accustomed to. I had to take it easy for about 10 days but by the end of the month I was back at the gym doing my spinning class again.

I really had a great month “living” in Buenos Aires. My Spanish while still terrible did get noticeably better despite not studying. It was all by osmoses. I continued to work hard on the Manic Nomads website creating the design of this blog section that you are now reading. It is now setup so that it will be much easier when I start traveling to make daily posts in a timely manner (provided I have Internet access of course).
